Blackbutt T&G Floorboards - suppliers

HI People,

Building a new house, and the mrs wants soid flooring.

Any pointers on where i can get about 400 sqm of 80/19 Blackbutt T&G floor boards.

Retail prices in Sydney are astronomical, and happy to spread some of the monies to the regional towns.

i got a very good price on select grade black butt from a place called toronto timbers, but I think they're now called design wood located up on lake maquarie so not too far from you at sydney. this was about 4 or 5 years ago though.

Depends exactly what you want. However I make furniture for "reconstructed" in Geelong- also Melbourne - They have recycled flooring 3-4mm top layer on finger jointed hardwood backing boards -they have a variety - whether blackbutt is amongst them I don't know. Look up the site if this seems suitable.

Save the money and get some 14mm overlay flooring. You’ll never know the difference once laid.

I’m assuming that as it’s a new house the floorboards is structural.
