Spalted maple burl epoxy table
Hey there, here's my latest project.
Actualy, started the project last year around July and finish it around september/october. Took a lot of time because I could only work on weekends.
Anyway, it came out beautiful (I think). The wood has some rarely seen curls, spalting, etc. Mother nature did a great job there.
In general, the spalting was under control except some areas where the wood was a bit punky. I did give the whole table 4 rounds of wood hardener, just in case.
The table is heavy as hell.
One of the reasons I decided to cut it in half was because I need to add an extension in the middle (big family.
