    Default multi projector thing

At the camp Iam involved with we were given a late model Epson overhead(?) projector as per pic1

Pic 3 shows the hdmi and power plugs that plug into a pc laptop and up the wall to the projector and speakers. This works fine with a laptop.
However what happens when someone arrives with their Ipad or Apple gear?

Is there a box thingy that the hdmi/speaker cables should go into then a laptop or Apple product plug into the other side of said box thingy?

or have I stuffed up completely if so what should I have done/be doing?

depends on how organised you want to be (and well stocked)

As the adaptors can be quite expensive especially if you plan on stocking every kind of socket out there, ie dvi, displayport, usbc, vga just to name a few, plus these things tend to go walk abouts quite easily.

You can solve your problem by either:

    - Telling people who plan on using the facilities to bring their own adaptor, ie tell them you've got hdmi male they will need hdmi female to whatever male they have for their device.
    - or set up a "casting device" ie like a chromecast or similar that will enable a user to "share" their screen
    - or have a dedicated laptop on site and users can plug their usb's or email you whatever they plan on presenting beforehand.

there are other options but the above should cover most of your potential visitors.
