I remember reading that anything which is basic will cause it to set. I used to make my own bicarb soda mixture but found that it also reacts with the wood causing it to darken.
Ive also heard people use isopropyl alcohol and i remember trying it one time but dont remember if it worked or not

We can say that about any low turn over or low volume retail product. Apart from the associated dangerous goods compliance for transport, & storage etc we are really paying for the convenience of purchasing small retail quantities when we require it. We are avoiding the issues associated with purchasing, handling, storage, hazard management, risk mitigation, dangerous goods compliance, potential insurance refusal/s etc.
