    Default Hello from NZ

    Hi there,

    Just joined. I’ve been woodworking for a few years now as a hobby and am setting up my workshop. Currently have a Tanner table saw (not working), a Tanner 6 inch buzzer, dust extraction systemand a DeWalt thicknesser. My current challenge is getting the table saw going.

    I live in Christchurch, NZ.

    welcome to the forum Rob, great city to live, even though it rattles now & then, unfortunately I left CHCH 45 years ago, You can take the boy out of the city but never take the city out of the boy.

    Default Tanner Saw

    Hi Rob,

    I'm also in Chch and I also have a tanner saw. Like you I'm cleaning mine up. I'm curious to know if you have a fence for it and if so do you have a pic? I'm looking for a fence to replace the current box steel fence in place.

    I'm looking to sell it.

    Two things please, it'd be great if you could do an introduction of yourself in your own post....

    I purchased the fence and guard from a company in Whangarei. I'll take a photo when I'm next with it (it's at another home of ours).

    Default Hello from Chch NZ

    Hi everyone

    I'm new here. Heading towards retirement I'm refitting my workshop, so I can have a small side hassle and keep myself out from under the good lady's feet.

    Presently, I've been building mobile wooden boxes to put shelves into and machinery on. It's fun work and I'm really enjoying the challenge as it's way different than my usual employment.

    Anyway 👋
