    Default Howdy All

    Evening All.

My name is Drew and I'm a new member to this great forum.

I have multiple hobbies and interests, and have had many small "diverse" restoration projects over the years, not just with wood, which seems to be more of repair type work around the home these days.

My last restoration project was a small 1920 steam engine which powered a small boat - was completely rusted, had a seized piston & stood on a beautiful Douglas Fir (Oregon pine) base, which was blackened with years of dirt and oil.

Currently attempting to restore an Executive Partner Desk - more of that in the restoration section once I get a few more pics together.

In the interim, I be exploring the forums.
    Cheers
    Drew

For those of you that may be interested, here are a couple of photos of the Steam Engine restoration project............. I know this is a woodworking forum, so I won't bore you to tears too much!!! LOL

As mentioned prior, the engine was completely rusty with a seized piston - took over a year to restore it during my spare time and the whole process was in fact documented on the Toy and Steam Engine forum.

    Anyway - enjoy!
    Cheers
    Drew
