Toymakers Mallet
Toymakers Mallet for @kustomcreations_byscott “Make a Mallet Challenge”.
I have to thank Mark @dainermade for his encouragement to have a go!

Making toys I don’t need a big or heavy mallet.
I’d been using an old plumbers mallet for years, but with the challenge I made this one to a similar scale.
I’ve used my own Iron Bark with a laminated Gidgee faces and a Walnut handle.
Kustom Grit step #1 was used to finish it. #kustomgritmalletchallenge

A very good looking mallet and well made as well, a man of many talents.

Just to clarify why the unusual shape of the mallet!
The smaller end at 3/4” (20mm) square is to help tap axle pegs in place.
