How to Multi-Quote?
I noticed that a facility exists to answer a post by quoting part of that post rather than quoting the entire quote and I would like to find out how to do this but couldn't get an answer in the FAQ's
Cheers,
Yvan

Hit reply with quote and then edit out what you don't want.
If you want to break in and respond in the middle of the quoted text them insert "/QUOTE" (inside square brackets - that means "end quote") and write your response.
If I put the square brackets in the computer will treat it as a real quote action.
Then to resume the quoted test insert "QUOTE" - again inside square brackets.
Make sure you leave th original QUOTE (again inside square brackets) at the start of their text
In your case it was QUOTE=yvan;2282111 (again inside square brackets)
eg (NB all the QUOTEs and /QUOTEs are inside square brackets
QUOTE
Their text
/QUOTE
Your text
QUOTE
More of their text
/QUOTE
More of your text
All the quoted text will end up displayed inside a box in Italics.
You should check to make sure you have inserted all the quotes and /quotes correctly otherwise your text and their text will get mixed up.

I too would like to understand this, perhaps a two day weekend workshop at a nice coastal holiday resort could be arranged for the instruction of the process involved? I reckon that’s how long it would take me to learn and remember it.

I'm trying to get my head around what Bob has told us
