    Default A good Shopnotes woodworking tip

    Today's tip is not a bad idea.

    Don't know if I'd use liquid nails on my BS though. The double sided tape sounds better.

    Thanks for that idea Craig, like you I would be reluctant to glue the blocks.

    Some good double sided tape is the way to go I reckon, good idea though. Probably worth doing on drill presses too.

    You could always glue the block to you clamp.

    Another method for the drill press and the BS is to remove and invert the tables then fill the voids with automotive bog. A bit fussier but smoother all around solution.

    I too have found it sometimes awkward to clamp to the B/S table - nice simple idea, just the way I like 'em

    Why would you bother?
    The thread of the clamp will reach up into the web of the table anyway.

    Looks like one of them " I so freakin bored, what can I do to fill in time jobs"
