Not a bad game at all. That Viduka nearly cost us though. He is no good in a crisis. That goodness for Schwarzer.

I reckon Schwarzer saved more goals and did more for Oz to be man of the match than Lucas Neill who was the SBS winner of Man of the Match.
All in all it was a great game and I am proud to be an Aussie suporting our winning Socceroos and hope they can go a lot further in the World Cup.

They need to make some changes if they want to go any further in the World Cup. Bring in Nathan Buckley.

I wish we hadn't won. We're gonna have to put up with soccer crap from now until we get kicked out of the world cup.

oh well it will all be forgotten for the next 30 years after the early world cup exit
at least in AFL or rugby(both lots) the game ends at the siren win lose or draw not 'lets tack on another 30 minutes .......oops still no good lets do a penalty shoot out .......'
I guess if the result wasnt there they would have to go more time

Well, you all know I like a good compromise, how about we have a goalpost carving competition at half time? That'll get the blood rushing!

I reckon that draws at full time should be decided by continuing to play and each team drops 1 player every 5 mins. Surely by the time they are down to a few players each, someone will score.

Or maybe they could make the goals bigger...

I beleive that the AFL has extra time during it's final series as well.

You'd better not ask that question when your time is up and you stroll up to yhr Pearly Gates. His father won't let you in.
