Ok mate cooled down now. Getting a bit uptight about the direction the forum seems to taking, don't know just what it is but I was off line foe a few weeks changing ISP and when I came back there was an indefinable difference to the forum that I can't quite put my finger on.
    Sorry for the blast.

The forum is pretty bland at the moment, but maybe thats where the mods want it to go.
    It is theirs after all.
Maybe this is the globalisation thing, PC forums are the trend worldwide.

Not me. I never asked for it, and have never complained about somebody's post or PM. I've never complained about getting posts deleted either. It's 's call and up to him completely. If I don't like it, I make the decision to stay or leave.

Some whinged, not all. You are generalizing that just because a few asked for it everybody wanted it. Just like politicians claiming a mandate when they got less than the majority vote but because of gerrymandering got them into power. ( and if I mentioned names this thread would go to the orange room  ).

I don't mind that it is there, it may serve a useful function to those that want to participate in it, however from what has been said sofar ( swearing, puerile pictures and offensive jokes ) I definitely have no need to participate in it or even see and look.

Neither am I complaining, I did not even enter this discussion until asked for our opinions.

As some of you may know I am not known to be backwards in coming forward with my opinions hence when asked by I came forward and offered mine.

Some agree, others don't, so as I said maybe a proper poll is needed, with a closed forum stopping debate but only allowing voting by those that are able to give valid rep points, thus eliminating the one issue non participating members.

Maybe can organize this and then the result will be an proper indication of which way to go. That way the silent majority can have a voice instead of the vocal minority that got us into this situation.
