Not a bad game at all. That Viduka nearly cost us though. He is no good in a crisis. That goodness for Schwarzer.
If at first you don't succeed, give something else a go. Life is far too short to waste time trying.

yes, you are right flexy-man.
Uruguay where very, very tired, but had more strikes........it was just our time..
Luckily that A. Recoba went off tired halfway through, he is just wayyyy to freaky with the ball ...every timeI know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones.

I reckon Schwarzer saved more goals and did more for Oz to be man of the match than Lucas Neill who was the SBS winner of Man of the Match.
All in all it was a great game and I am proud to be an Aussie suporting our winning Socceroos and hope they can go a lot further in the World Cup.

I wish we hadn't won. We're gonna have to put up with soccer crap from now until we get kicked out of the world cup.

oh well it will all be forgotten for the next 30 years after the early world cup exit
at least in AFL or rugby(both lots) the game ends at the siren win lose or draw not 'lets tack on another 30 minutes .......oops still no good lets do a penalty shoot out .......'
I guess if the result wasnt there they would have to go more time
