    Default Armor pocket hole jig

    Has anybody on this site used the Armor pocket hole jig. going to throw my Kreg K5 in the garbage, just wondering if the Armor would be a good replecement.

    Could not get it to lock in place, timbre was forever moving out of place. Followed the instructions to the letter and watched every video available on U Tube, kit's going into the bin

    Yes I use the Armor tool pocket hole jig and its excellent. Like you i sold my K5 not because there's anything majorly wrong with it but the Armor tool is so much easier and fun to use. The locking mechanism, stop collar adjustment, block height adjustment and screw selection are all better on the Armor tool. Had it for about a year and have no intention of changing. I think its still better than the recent offerings from Kreg
