Patchy Floorboards
Hi I'm a new user and need help,
A few days ago I put on my floorboards some Feast Watson Floorshine (Satin) and it looks as if I did not put it on even because when I look into the kitchen from the lounge I can see patches. I got told that I can remove this by using some Feast Watson floorstrip but will this damage the original polish, or should I just let it stay and let it wear out with the traffic and cleaning. Any ideas?

If you've enough left of the original can, I'd be inclined to give the floor a light sand and apply another coat. If this improves things, no problem.
If it reduces the amount/size of patchiness, then there's a good chance the original surface either wasn't cleaned properly (has it been waxed at some stage?) or had worn through in areas. If the former, it probably isn't keying in properly and would best be sanded right back. If the latter, you could possibly get away with applying more coats. That's a judgement call... gotta be there and see it to really say.
If it makes no difference, well... personally I'd look at doing some serious sanding, as in back to bare timber, and a whole new finish.
