Out door lattice in full sun and weather
Hi everyone
We're going to do a bit if work in our back yard and part of that means installing these cheap lattice/screens to hide part of the fence. They're just specials from bunnings. They will be attached to frames and attached to the fence with a vine or something like jasmine in between them
I'm just wondering what might be the best finish for them with the lowest maintenance.
I suppose the two options im thinking are:
Decking oil
Or
Water based decking "oil"
I would think the decking oil will probably look nicer, but obviously comes with more maintenance in reapplying. Not sure which one will last the longest in full sun and rain though. Most of the deck coatings ive put on have been water based and only see part sun as they're undercover.
I honeslty think the cheap as staples that hold the thing together will probably clap out before i need to recoat anyway.
