What is this brass plug called and where can i get one
Hi, I plan to build a new bench seat and in the longitudinal section underneath there is a brass plug that a bolt attaches from the outside of the legs. the idea is to provide longitudinal support to the seat. Any ideas on what this brass plug is called or where i can get them from?
Regards
Anto

It's called a "scan fitting" and are available in many different sizes and bolt lengths/types. You local hardware shop should stock them, otherwise do a Google search for suppliers.

They are excellent for making super tight joints. Outdoor furniture which loosens with time are an excellent use.
