Make up a bunch of study cards about 8cm by 3cm out of thin cardboard.

That is a great idea I have my number one son do it to help him when he has to do speaches in front of the class and then he gets to practice in front of us by the time he's got it down pat he's not nervous at all standing in front of the class (I've got packets of those blank index cards)

we did give him the tip about trying to imagine everyone in front of him sitting in their underware and Liam came back with
"Mum That's just a Cruel and Unusal Punishment"
    go figure LOL
    Cheers Bio

Yeah it is and it got me through school and university. Use thin card because you end up with a thick wad of them. I even resoreted to fitting 3-4 questions on each card!

    Default Thank You

    Hi Cosmo

Thanks for the compliment and I am glad I could be of some assistance
I would rather see a kid working in a job they are interested in doing
I can certainly tell you some horror stories of friends children who have worked in some of those larger fast food franchises and the hours some of them are expected to work I know I wouldn't want my daughter or son working till nearly midnight and then coming home that late.

The vet she'll be working for is my big brother and he pays above award,
your Daughter is one of the nicests and sweetest and well mannered young ladies I have ever had the pleasure to meet you have done a wonderful job with her and I am sure she will make an excellent vet and cruise through Uni with flying colours,

As for the coffee the recipe is very simple use what ever ground coffee you like but what we drank yesterday was the last of a bag my Brother-in-Law sent over from Africa, all you do if put your coffee in your filter in the dripulator add 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence or a 1/4 of a vanilla bean
1 teaspoon of sweet mixed spice, a pinch of ground ginger or about one centimetre piece of fresh ginger root and a good pinch of ground cinnamon or a piece of cinnamon bark
all those spices go into the filter basket on top of the coffee and just turn the machine on and let it do its thing

Its a nice brew and you can even do it with No Frills brands of brewing coffee and it makes it taste better I'm so use to drinking it now I hate drinking coffee out as it doesn't taste the way I like it LOL

I'm sure most of my drop in friends come over just for the coffee LOLOL
It was lovely to meet some others on the forum, I've also chatted on the phone to Jules and Doug the Slug hope to catch up with them soon in early Dec.
Maybe you and ang can come an meet them also
well big move tomorrow so time to pack up the last of it and when we get settled you and ang can come over for dinner and meet the rest of the family, (mind you my Liam will want Ang to play the X-box and Caitie will want her to play with her toy horses, LOLOL
Tell Ang Remember Don't Stress I've got alot of faith in her ability She'll fly through those exams She is a very intelligent young lady
    Cheers Lou

Thumbs up This BB rules!!! This thread is really worth a read !!! Warm fuzzies allover!

So good to see genuine people hooking up through a woodies BB - what started as a cry for help ended up with a hardworking student gaining a mentor and a holiday job, a stressed father being able to chill out, and a very generous lady being able to pass on knowledge and experience. Wow.

Good luck Angel, you'll be OK now.

PS Bio maybe edit your mobile No. off your post. Hope the move goes OK.

Yeah mate. The bugger refuses to cycle. As for smashing atoms, forget it. They just seem to bounce off each other.

    You got any clues?
