Lake Tinaroo
Wet a line yesterday at a couple of locations
This was the last port of call...Lake Tinaroo
What a glorious part of the world
Stocked with Barra,Jack and heaps of Black Bream,Mouth Almighty,Sleepy Cod etc!
Surrounded by Wet Tropics Rainforest...

Ah yes, the lake of 10,000 casts! 😆 I got this one there, a few years ago, on my 10,001st cast. My mate caught his world record fish there too,37.8 kilos. There’s some really good sooty grunter there too.

No I haven’t been to that one, that road up and down that mountain to tinaroo from cairns was enough for me. I got him on a lure, hence the counting of casts

Actually caught 3 Black Bream at the first port of call...all on cheese!
This was at Price creek(runs into the Mitchell river I think)
Just outside of Mutchilba on the western Tablelands
