McJing - Absolutely awesome service!
Not a product review, but a quick note to acknowledge the amazing service I got recently from McJing!
As per usual policy Aust Post decided at random not to deliver a parcel of stuff the missus bought me for Fathers Day, and it sort of hung in limbo with the occasional weird and meaningless delivery update.
John from McJing followed up immediately with AP after I let them know I suspect it's going skewiff, and kept me updated repeatedly.
As it was in limbo he then sent via express a second lot of the items (around $300 worth!) which I received 2 days later.
You get so used to really ordinary service from companies these days, that it comes as quite a shock that some companies actually really get customer service, and when they say they'll follow up, they do exactly as they said!
What an amazing crowd to deal with, I couldn't be more impressed!
And the product quality and pricing is just great too, so that was the icing on the cake!

Have to admit I had a problem with a nut in my moxon vise set and was prepared for hell. They replied to my issue very promptly and I had a replacement arrive in the mail a few days later. Unfortunately it then took me two months to retrieve from my then locked office due to COVID

I must admit I was blown away with John's response, I fully expected to have to chase them and wait until the first parcel went one way or the other, and then deal with it somehow, I really didn't expect John to immediately offer to send a replacement parcel, especially when it was a decent amount of stuff and they weren't entirely sure where the first parcel was going to end up, and were just hoping it would meander back to them (which it did after nearly 3 weeks).
Not all things can go to plan for everyone all time, so this was just brilliant service from a great supplier!
cheers, Ian

I've practically grown up going to their two shops, the old man always made time to call in there for an hour to browse when we came to Sydney, and then when he retired always was going there, it's an Aladdin's cave of a store, and they know where everything is. Wonderful family to do business with. Quality, pricing, and service, are second to none.

I've always had fantastic service from McJing.
Prices are always keen, delivery is usually very quick & any small issues I have had have been addressed promptly & without any fuss.
If only all suppliers were as good!!

Have to agree. All my dealings with them have been good. To those who have never been in the shop it is well worth the effort to just browse. That said you would need an iron will to come out of there empty handed.
Regards
John

I agree
McJings are gold standard for service
Sometimes their product will be less than stellar, but the price was fair and if there is a real problem they will do their best to fix itCheers

I buy from them regularly and there service is excellent and a visit to their shop is a pleasant experience with plenty to look at. But don't expect to see boutique brands - more fit for purpose tools but better quality than the dollar shops.

Agreed. I've posted before, but once again blown away - I ordered some (bulky) bits last Thursday at about midday - they arrived on the Friday here in QLD, less than 24 hrs later. Consistently fast, consistently good value. I think they must have some sort of 'dispatching race' going on, because they seem to pick, pack and post within an hour, every time...

I use to work in Sydney and occasionally travel between 2 depots . . . McJings was a convenient stop over for my lunch break.
The first few times, I was unprepared and was overwhelmed by the stock, use to forget items I wanted.
Then I wised up, researched the website, wrote a list, took said list and handed it in at the counter, then browsed . . .
My list would transform into the items I wanted and I would end up with more stuffPat

I cant say i have used their online service, but it sounds like its exactly like their in-store service which is excellent. Love taking a trip just for a look, but that's never happened as i have always come away with something. Great shop.
