    Default Closing “SOLD” threads

Buggered if I can see how to close a thread when the item is SOLD in the Marketplace. Any clues?

On the top of the very first post on the right, you should see a drop-down called "Administrative"
The default action is "Close Thread"
Click the "Proceed..." button to close thread.
You need to be the thread owner.

    See screenshot below:

Not sure that this is needed. Just add a new post, clearly stating the item is SOLD (or withdrawn etc)

Would be nice if the thread stayed open for the thread owner to edit the title.

Then you could change the prefix to SOLD, instead of the state.

If everyone CLOSED sale threads when their stuff is sold it gets rid of the clutter when you have to scroll through heaps of threads only to find the item is sold.
    just a thought.

Try Reporting the post and asking for thread to be closed and SOLD prefix inserted.
Mods and admin will do it but only until they get sick of everyone asking. That might only take a few minutes, so don't be offended if it doesn't get done.

Only way to change prefix to sold is to allow everyone full editing and that is never going to happen as there would be bedlam on the forums with threads missing important info because someone didn't like what was poster etc, etc, etc.

    Cheers
