R.I.P. Peter Green
I was deeply saddened when I heard on tonight's news that Peter Green had passed away. He had a very hard life due to substance abuse issues, but I was lucky enough to see him perform at The Prince Of Wales Hotel in St. Kilda (quite) a few years back. One of the founding members of Fleetwood Mac, he wrote such classics as Oh Well, Black Magic Woman and Albatross.
R.I.P. mate.

Most people associate Black Magic Woman with Santana but it was Peter Green. Will think of him every time I play now.
Cheers

I sat and watched my Peter Green Splinter Group live DVD last night, and his music will be on high rotation on my iPod for the next few days.
