Ryobi bandsaw.
I bought the exact same bandsaw a while ago and think I got had. Bought it knowing nothing about bandsaws.
I can't get the blade to run straight. It may be something simple, but I have no idea. Is there anyone in or around Brissie who could help,or do I right it off as a bad joke and buy a better one.
HELP!!!

Hi Roscoe,
if the unit has been adjusted up ok as per the manual (see my original posts for manual), and the blade tension is correct, then it should cut thin material ok.
These small bandsaws have thin flexible blades which can bend whilst cutting, and once the cut has deviated from the straight in thicker material, it is hard to correct.
Overall setup of the blade guides, blade sharpness, blade tension, and speed of cut, are all important here.
It should straight cut 1/4 ply without any problem, and at a relatively high feed rate, but will deviate on say 10mm MDF if the feed rate is too high.
Try a slower feed.
Lower the top blade guide as low as possible above the work.
These bandsaws were only ever meant to be used for very light work.
Even though I had used a large DoAll bandsaw in a previous life, I had to spend quite some time adjusting my Ryobi up before it would perform basic straight cuts.
I only wish my Ryobi had a built-in blade welder like the old DoAll!!
cheerio, mike

Hi, Is is possible for you to share a link to the Ryobi HBS7600 User Manual or alternatively would you mind emailing it to me?

Voila!
looks like links were lost in my original post.
You are lucky; I have been absent for quite a while, and just saw your query.
