Default Carnauba Wax T1 (type 1)

    Sorry folks it's all.

Just took delivery of 1 tonne of T1 Carnauba Wax from Brazil.

Selling the raw product for the first time to anyone who's interested. Prices below:

1 kg = $35.20 incl GST regular price is somewhere around $45 to $60+

25 kg = $687.50 incl GST. This is almost half the normal wholesale price available anywhere in Australia (if you can get it at all)

I believe the offered prices above to be way below any others available in Australia and for that matter almost anywhere else in the world.

If anyone is interested please send me a pm.

    Cheers - Neil

Carnauba Wax T1 Prime Yellow is the purest grade of Carnauba Wax

Carnauba, also called Brazil wax and palm wax, is a wax of the leaves of the palm Copernicia prunifera, a plant native to and grown only in the North East Brazil. Carnauba provides a high gloss finish in formulations, makes products waterproof and wear-resistant. Due to its unique characteristics it can be used as a key component in many varied applications which include, cosmetics, car polishes, hard wood floor polishes, release agents.
T1 is the premium luxury grade for the finest quality product often used in cosmetics, in premium auto products and the best wood care and finishing products.

Having never used Carnauba, is there a use by date to it?

Just thinking that it may be quite awhile for me to get around to using it.

    Hello cava

No use by date on Carnauba Wax. It does need to be mixed with some other wax though as it is too hard and brittle to use on its lonesome.

Usually mixed with beeswax for a softer paste wax or paraffin wax as a harder wax or with both for a slightly easier to manage wax. It will blend with most waxes and oils but
Carnauba Wax is the highest melting point natural wax at a much higher melting point than all other waxes at 82°C (approximately 185° F.)

That higher melting point enables it to impart gloss, hardness and slip, etc. to waxed finishes that would otherwise be a bit soft and ordinary looking.

Hope this is of some help.

    Cheers - Neil
