Outdoor main sliding gate replace broken holder ?
Dear folk
I was away from home for couple of days.
I have our outdoor sliding gate its broken holder got missing when I went home I did not see it on the ground and I guess it was thrown away
That holder prevents the gate from wiggling sideways
From the attached photos can you please help me to check how is holder looks like and from where can I get it ?

Going by your pics it shouldn't be too hard to make a bracket yourself. I'd say that the bracket fell off and someone going past picked it up, like a bower bird, thinking t might come in handy for something, not realising that it was part of your gate. As you haven't given/shown dimensions, my comments are suggestions only.
I'd get a couple of bits of plate about 5mm thick one would go behind the 2 pieces of angle that is attached to the post, the other in front of it, this will be the sandwich plates. You'll also need a couple of pieces possible the same width, one of which will go under the angle to act as a spacer, this needs to be thicker than the angle mounted to the gate, if the angle was 5mm thick, I'd put in a piece 10mm thick, and the other to go up inside the angle, this part will be to keep the gate from wiggling sideways.
Lay the pieces on top of one another, if you have a welder available, tack the pieces together, just enough to hold them in place while drilling them. I'd use probably 2X10mm bolts by whatever length is needed, and cone/nyloc nuts, drill your holes 10.5 or 11mm diameter.
If you have trouble understanding this please PM me and I'll make a sketch of it for you.
