Declining Bike Sales
Some of the reasons for the slump in sales at Harley Davidson are as follows -
Apparently the Baby-Boomers all have motorcycles. Generation X is only buying a few, and the next generation isn't buying any at all.
A recent study was done to find out why Millennials don't ride motorcycles.
Pants won't pull up far enough for them to straddle the seat.
Can't get their phone to their ear with a helmet on.
Can't use two hands to eat while driving.
They don't get a trophy and a recognition plaque just for buying one.
Don't have enough muscle to hold the bike up when stopped.
Might have a bug hit them in the face and then they would need emergency care.
Motorcycles don't have air conditioning.
They can't afford one because they spent 12 years in college trying to get a degree in Humanities,
Social Studies or Gender Studies for which no jobs are available.
They are allergic to fresh air.
Their pyjamas get caught on the exhaust pipes.
They might get their hands dirty checking the oil.
The handle bars have buttons and levers and cannot be controlled by touch-screen.
You have to shift manually and use something called a clutch.
It's too hard to take selfies while riding.
They don't come with training wheels like their bicycles did.
Motorcycles don't have power steering or power brakes.
Their nose ring interferes with the face shield.
They would have to use leg muscle to back up.
When they stop, a light breeze might blow exhaust in their face.
It could rain on them and expose them to non-soft water.
It might scare their therapy dog, and then the dog would need therapy.
Can't get the motorcycle down the basement stairs of their parent's home.To grow old is mandatory, growing up is optional.

Valid point Poundy, but I checked "likes" and I'm not there which means I didn't see Kryns first instalment in October due to being away on holiday. I've "liked" it this time because it made me grin.
Cheers,
Geoff.

He may have just come in to sell them a sausage.
Some one needs to talk to that kid about stranger danger.

It's not that long before we'll see self driving electric trikes, then this joke will seem really old
Here's a few developments
Pants won't pull up far enough for them to straddle the seat. - that maybe explains the increasing sales of scooters?
Can't get their phone to their ear with a helmet on. - that's why they use blue tooth helmets with built in mics
Can't use two hands to eat while driving - self driving motor bikes anyone?
They don't get a trophy and a recognition plaque just for buying one. - they make up for this by posting zillions of selfies on social media
Don't have enough muscle to hold the bike up when stopped. - not needed when if they ride a trike.
They might get their hands dirty checking the oil - not needed on an electric scooter.
You have to shift manually and use something called a clutch - not on an electric scooter
It's too hard to take selfies while riding. - wanna bet?
FWIW My 85 year old uncle started riding over parts of his mountainous region of Italy on a battered old Vespa while hand holding a camcorder and providing a voice over of the local historical events of each area. Quite often he would turn the camera and video himself speaking - all while ring up narrow mountains roads etc
After he came off a couple of times his daughters took the camera away and gave him a GoPro for his helmet. GAWD! We had to sit through endless hours of hearing about granny's cow getting out of the meadow and running amok down the main street of the village and ending up crapping in the fountain etc.

Thanks Bob, I clicked thanks for the pictures, as I could vividly imagine the scenes. Bit like the neighbours going O/S and having to endure countless hours of ramblings on video or what ever the new thing is, or as it were back when I was younger, SLIDES.
