Be honest, if people heard what you are thinking half the time,
you would either be in Jail or a Mental HospitalTo grow old is mandatory, growing up is optional.

Very similar to the God bother er who was greeted with open arms when he knocked on the door of a ladies house wanting to preach his message.
She has dragged him inside, sat him down on the lounge and got him a cup of tea and a biscuit.
"So how can i help you" was her question.
"Don't know" he said. "Never made it this far before"

Honestly, I would first trade your vehicle for an old clunker and sock away the profit in an off shore account.
Then take out the maximum home equity loan possible and sock that cash away also off shore. You may have to withdraw cash and then purchase postal money orders for cash. Send the postal money orders to the off shore account.
I'm not sure what you can do with your retirement accounts but move them to a place where the OZ authorities can't find them.
Then move half of all personal accounts somewhere different than the Home Equity cash but still off shore using the money order method.
When the divorce solicitor comes calling, "Dear, you can have it all. Just leave me and my shed alone alone." Then when the question comes, "Where did it all go?" The answer is: "The wisest man on earth told me that 'The only way to beat the ponies is with a whip.' or 'You can never beat the house on the reels'". (a.k.a. slot Machines)
Now of course, "Dear" is not going to leave the shed alone and she'll make you sell the tools and stuff. Just remember with all those funds off shore you can request money orders (Your horse came in) and buy the tools to build the grandest shed ever.
Before you ask, the answer is: Yes but it was a stupid teenager with no patience behind the wheel. He is in his 50s today and I still won't ride with him. Merrill-Lynch in Vancouver, BC was willing to sell me New Zealand government bonds. For some reason Canada wouldn't tax them for a US citizen and New Zealand wouldn't report to the US IRS. Once the other uninjured party realized that they hadn't won the lottery, they accepted repairs on their Toyota pick up truck plus a few thousand, I was free and clear. I lost a lot of sleep over that one.

As much as your ideas are great, unfortunately 2 ex wives and the ATO (Australian Tax Office) have left me virtually zilch, not even any super!!!!

couple of things:
Change cars last, she might catch on.
Once the offshore fund is established it's easy to create a false identity online to buy your own tools if you happen to be fond of what you now have.I'm just a startled bunny in the headlights of life. L.J. Young.
