    Default Gap between metal angle on tiles and wood floor

    I have a gap to fill

    what should i fill the gap with ? a putty or just coloured caulk like this

    I would probably choose Cedar which is not in the above screenshot but at the link

    Coloured calking, the timber floor needs to move with climatic changes. Putty is no good, it will go hard and breakup and will not allow the timber floor to move

    I would grout the tiles up to the angle (dark grey grout), and a flexible sealant, like what you have linked on the timber side of the angle.

    on the floor in my house, where the timber transitioned to tile, they didn't use Caulk they used Cork. Same same but different

    We inspected a house the other day that used natural cork against the aluminium window frames - actually looked quite good.
