    Default G'day from Sydney.

I have been tinkering with wood for years and now it is time to start getting serious. I am looking forward to learning new tricks and 1 bit of advise I can give is to never give your wife 2 shelves in your shed. I found out the hard way, all my benches and shelves have junk all over them. I also like doing landscape photography.

    Welcome to the forum.
Sounds like the first project will need to be storage.
    Regards

That is what I plan on doing. There is lots of good videos on You Tube about shed storage.

    Welcome aboard.

I like panoramic landscape photography. Used to have a website with some of my stuff on it but I haven't done much in this space for about 10 years.

I negotiated with SWMBO so she could have her own benching the shed for her lapidary activities (rock cutting and polishing). Just the top of a bench (I have the space underneath), a square meter or so of wall space for shelving and 1/2 sq meter of floor space for a rock polisher. I reckon she hasn't used these for some 3 years. So I have started piling my crap onto of hers. So far she doesn't seem to have noticed The other day I noticed he battery powered Dremel has been moved inside. BTW inside the house she has taken over the (largely unused) lounge room as a craft room, ie sewing, quilting, vinyl cutting, ceramic repairs and her latest, crocheting toy stuffed animals.

    G'Day & Welcome to a top forum,
There are quite a stack members around Sydney and cross NSW plus the rest of the country.....
You'll find a heap of helpful & knowledgeable blokes & ladies on the forum and for most very willing to assist.
Make sure you show off your handiwork as everyone loves a photo, especially WIP [Work In Progress] photos with build notes.
That should be easy for a bloke with a good camera.
    Enjoy the forum.
    Enjoy your woodwork......
    Cheers crowie
