Recommendation on a woodworking books for beginners

Hi Ricky, WELCOME to a TOP forum.
Where abouts in America are you? Asking as we have quite a few members that are stateside. Would it be possible to change your location to a town and state, Please? You never know there might be a member close by or even in the same town.
There are literally thousands of books to help the beginner woodworker. I suggest that you visit the local library and have a search there, that way you don't have a small fortune tied up in books, not like some of us.
I have several of Blizzard's Book of Woodworking by Richard Blizzard. It lists the tools that would/should be in a toolkit for woodwork, without going over the top. It also explains the uses of said tools, as well as woodworking projects that are fairly easy to make and build confidence as you go along.

Can you provide a bit more information? Who is your target audience - young kids, teens, adults, disabled etc? Are you contemplating them using power tools, hand tools or both?

For hand tool beginners "The Joiner and Cabinet Maker" from Lost Art Press might be a good beginning. Lots of good information and three projects that are well described to help build skill levels. The book itself is beautifully printed and bound (as are all the LAP books!)

You have superb access to great books and tools in the USA, so much better & cheaper than here.
