Free Asbestos Seminar for Renovators (Vic)
From WorkSafe Victoria:
Home builders, renovators, property owners and specialist contractors are invited to a free seminar on asbestos in the home. The seminars will be held at the Darebin Arts and Entertainment Centre in Preston. It will held on Wednesday, 26 October.
Information at the seminars is being provided by WorkSafe, Department of Human Services, Master Builders Association, Environment Protection Authority and the CFMEU.
The free events at the Darebin Arts and Entertainment Centre (corner of Bell Street and. St Georges Road) are part of Work Safe Week activities running from 23 to 28 October.
Registration for the afternoon session is from 1pm. The session runs until 4.30pm. For the evening session, registration begins at 5.30pm. The session runs until 9pm.
