Just letting you know I've had to back out of this update and restore our backup. Will try again tomorrow.

Stick with it Steven.
It’s a little like speeding, I’d rather be 5 minutes late than dead on time.Regards,

Ok guys, The update has now taken place. We had to back out mid way again and start over, so it took a little longer. There are some template and plugin issues that wee'll work thought over the next day.
It'd be great if you could please post any issues you notice here.

yeah agreed with the thanks - always appreciate the background effort that goes on managing an active place like this.
One change I noticed was that the "want pictures" and "thanks for pics" emoji's on bottom of posts have lost their text description. Not a biggie that's for sure...

I agree that the "want pictures" and "thanks for pics" have disappeared. Also, the "go to next unread post" button seems to have lost a bit of it's memory. When I click on the button, it takes me to two or three posts that I have already seen, instead of taking me to the first unread post.
Again, not a biggie, just bringing it to Steve's attention.

I'd say you should ignore it's function on posts you may have read in the past 24 hours. There seems to have been posts lost so I suspect that at some stage forum access was open and then there was a data restore.... I know for me a number of posts I read appeared in the "New Posts" list. There were also ones I commented on that the posts disappeared, so I know that there was some data loss / forum access at some point during the upgrade process, that has caused some questions.

why not use CloudFlare? https://www.cloudflare.com
Caching, edge services, HTTPS encryption, CDN, DNSSEC, DDoS mitigation.... the works - all free.
Its absolutely FANTASTIC.
btw, HTTPS posting still breaks forcing everything into a single line.

Being trying to upload some images via manage attachments and insert image and they’re not loading in a thread, had to use Tapatalk to upload them.
