Metal grip pads on sliding clamps, replacements needed, where do I get some?
Dear Woodworkers,
I need lots of these metal pads as I have lots of acquired sliding clamps that were thrown out because the pads were missing.
Who makes these and where can I get them from?
Thanks in anticipation.
cheers,
mick.

I've never seen these sold separately.
You might have to see if you can find someone to turn them up - won't be cheap though as making those holes for the ball ends is a bit of a PITA.

You can buy them, they're called swivel pads. Not real sure on the sizing though.

Dear woodworkers,
Thanks for your quick responses, I was hoping someone knew something about these “ swivel pads” ( thanks Feckit).
I have searched online however, not knowing the correct term for these pads, I was disadvantaged from the beginning.
See how I go, I’ll post my findings as I’m sure others would also like to know where to source these as well.
Cheers,
Mick.

US to OZ - Shipping to Australia (or any other freight forwarder).
Might add a little to the price, but suddenly removes an awful roadblock

The ones from Amazon.au are a ridiculous price - $56
