    No wonder it is not cooked.
    That's only 60 degrees. In my non metric oven though it would be 140.

    as an obnoxious teenager my mum once! asked me to look at the fruit cake in the oven, being a good lad?? I did so, 10 minutes later she is doing her nut about the burnt ruined fruit cake...."I thought I asked you to look at it?" "Yeah, I did, could see it was cooked but didnt know what to do so left it."

    teenagers should be locked away
    I would love to grow my own food, but I can not find bacon seeds

    My grandfather was a pastry chef. I inherited his recipe book. When I was a teenager I decided to try and make marshmallows. It would have been fine except I didn't take proper note of the quantities. It was after all a COMMERCIAL cooking book. The penny started to drop when I'd filed and covered every baking apparatus in the kitchen...and I was about half way through the mixture....

    When I read this out to my Partner, she asked what would you cook at 120 degrees??????????????????????
    My first wife used to cook UFO's Unitentified Fried Objects.
