    Default Does finish go off?

I've got some Minwax wipe on poly left over from a project from a couple of years ago. I can't see any shelf life mentioned on the instructions...do you think it's still OK to use? I tried it on a test sample and it seems OK but I'm a bit nervous of ruining my master piece if it does something weird.

Looks like Bunnings has stopped stocking it so it may be my last tin!

Ridiculously simple - try it on a test piece.

I've done a little research, and opinion seems to be that if it is still properly liquid and dries in the correct time and to the correct hardness - that is, it's not slow to dry and doesn't remain a touch gummy and isn't gel-like out of the tin - you should be fine.

Thanks - it still seems quite liquid so I'll give it a go. It's pretty humid at the moment so it takes a while to stop feeling tacky but I think it's about the same as when new.
