What-not red cedar
I want to bring this back to functional life and looking for recommendations. One leg is missing and one of the tips has been broken off. I didn't get the the leg or tip so I can't repair. For the leg I was thinking of removing the others and just adding light weight castors. I'm thinking this is from the 70's and so castors would be period realistic. I'll admit that it is probably my least dumbest idea. Fore the time being I thought I might just wax it (I already was with Sunlight soap).

Personally, I think those things are too top heavy -- especially when loaded -- for castors.
Not sure how much you paid for it, but my inclination would be to recycle the shelves as boxes, or pay someone to make the missing bits.regards from Alberta, Canada

Thank you Ian, I now see top heavy as an issue.
I might look into making it into a different type of what-not or recycling it into use with other red cedar furniture I have.

Four bun feet would drop it down to a more manageable height.
