Saskatoon's posting (#31 above) of Artisan Handyshop Manual appears to relate to a benchtop saw, buzzer and dowel combo. I have attempted to attach a pdf of the "Artisan Standard Homejoiner - Operating Instructions and Maintenance Manual" which gives details for blade setting, fence setting, dowelling and even talks of an optional moulding head which are not mentioned in the Handyshop Manual. If I have not succeeded with the attachment I will try until I get it to work.
Attachment failed - exceeded allowable size. Will try again tomorrow.

G’day, new to the forum. Has anyone got an exploded view of one of these machines?
I have one that has been semi-pulled apart, and have cleaned it up and ready to put back together.

RonA, do you still have your Artisan machine? If so any chance you could send me some photos of the belts and pulleys setup? Trying to get mine reassembled and working.

Hi Ron,
I have the 8x8 3 phase model. Motor just smoked itself. Not sure if it is original motor size/HP - could I please ask you to check what yours is before I buy a new motor?
Thanks so very much

artisan combination saw
Hi everyone,,
I'm new here so see how we go,
South of the river.
I have an Artisan combination saw/planer , must be about 50 years old , still works good, I made my own jigs etc to cut angles and mitres etc,
single phase motor, it has a thread on the side which I fit a chuck so I can drill with it but it has no table for that but it can be fitted.
I can make finger joints etc.
the rise and fall is a bit tight but that could need a new brass bush , otherwise it still is a good machine for hobbies and small furniture jobs.
I have a dust extractor about 20 litres . as well but I have not had this fitted as yet
Problem is , We are moving soon (downsizing) and although I enjoy making things with it we will have no room (and the new neighbor's will kill me)
I was wondering what it may be worth if I put it up for sale?
