    Default Hullooooo from Auckland,New Zealand.

Heya fellas,I am usually quite grumpy, but I am especially pleased to be here.I have discovered that working with wood gives me more pleasure that even my first loves of hunting and fishing.
My journey began with me being so fed up with not being able to saw straight, that I signed up for a carpentry course.I love being in the workshop and with other fellas there for the same purpose.
For those who have been to rock bottom and lower, past the really really dark places to the pit and then had the good fortune to look back on those times while standing in the sun,you will understand my enthusiasm.
I look forward to learning new things, sharing experiences and lotsa sawdust on here.
    Thank you for having me.

G'day and welcome to the forum. Pity I am not over here a bit longer to catch up with some of you. I just left the Auckland area this morning and traveled through Whangarie (PWH) and staying at Paihia tonight. We will be staying near Hamilton tomorrow night as we head south. We are here for a whirlwind 2 week trip around both islands so not much time for anything else unfortunately.
Woodworking is such a relaxing pastime so I hope it helps you enjoy life to the fullest and you never go back to where you have come from. Good luck with the future.

Welcome to the forum from another Aucklander who is now residing in Sydney. I was back over there in September and had a good time.

There is a lot of info here and more than a few intelligent minds who I am sure will help you with woodworking stuff should the need arise.

G'Day & Welcome to a top forum, yes based on the BIG Island across the ditch,
There are a quite a few members in The Land of the Long White Cloud plus the rest of the world.....
You'll find a heap of helpful & knowledgeable blokes & ladies on the forum and for most very willing to assist.
Make sure you show off your handiwork as everyone loves a photo, especially WIP [Work In Progress] photos with build notes.
    Enjoy the forum.
    Enjoy your woodwork.
Cheers from The Great Southern Land, crowie
