    Default A Sagar for Sion.

I don't know if Sion Dovey still visits this site, but this is as much a "Ebay droppings" thread, as a look at another Sagar.

This thicknesser was for sale here recently. There's not much info, but it seems to be a 30" thicknesser, 3-phase (of course) and last ran a couple of years ago.

It looks okay at first glance.

But that dark line on the right hand side (below table) might be more than a scratch in the paint.

It's been in the wars . Damaged cover over the table. What looks like significant damage around the trunnion in the frame (to right of tie-down), and replaced (and re-damaged) handwheel.

And the seller wasn't selling at a "parts" price either .

    Enjoy!

    Cheers, Vann.

This might be what it looked like before being attacked by heavy machinery.

So there are also gear cover(s) missing.

    Cheers, Vann.
