    Default Hi from Toowoomba

    Hello Everyone - my name is Dan and I've often browsed the forum from google searches and figured I'd officially sign up!

    I've been a long term (since about 9-10 years old, now 36) wood tinkerer and have generally swung in an out from playing with wood. Growing up we used to cut fence posts and supply timber to saw mills and have just made bits and pieces along the way.

    Now I spend my days selling machinery and 3D designing factory layouts in CAD (Onshape).

    My current interest is in basic toys and have started making a few pieces here and there for my kid's school / gifts, etc.

    I've attached a few simple WIP shots of things I've made recently.

    I haven't been part of an active forum for about 15 years so here I go down the rabbit hole!

    If you get down the range to Brisbane, do so to get to Carbatec on the East side for hand tools to machines. New catalogue coming out very soon, 400 pages and 6000+ products
