Tony
Hi all, Im from Canberra, Locksmith by trade. Just retired so it's time to set up the shed. I have had access to a fantastic workshop for a long time but that's all gone. Most of the things I love making are off the cuff usually ignoring the tried and true ways. I look forward to asking plenty of questions, here's some of my work.

G'Day & Welcome to a top forum "Tony".
There are quite a few members in Canberra and around the Southern Highlands with a stack of members in Sydney area plus the rest of the country.....
You'll find a heap of helpful & knowledgeable blokes & ladies on the forum and for most very willing to assist.
Make sure you show off your handiwork as everyone loves a photo, especially WIP [Work In Progress] photos with build notes.
Enjoy the forum.
Enjoy your woodwork......
Cheers crowie
PS - Please give you handiwork a new separate thread as they deserve a wider audience....

Welcome.
Intrigued by the small box with four squares - how does it work, and where can I get plans for it?

Hi George, they are called Devil's Dice. The object is to align all the symbols correctly on all 6 sides. I have attached the plans, hopefully. Mine are made from, the cubes are Pear, + is Rock Maple, triangle is Purple Heart, Circle is Oak & the square is Blackwood and the box is Purple Heart.
