Agreed Barry. Looks great but his way of squaring the fence was a little too rough for me. I'd rather use the 5 cut method or the dial indicator method for more precision even though his method is good enough
I made one very similar to this which also included dust collection, sliding stop blocks, T tracks, hold downs etc but while I wanted a super sled it ended up being too heavy and I splurged on Incra's miter express. It wasn't any more accurate but it was more manageable and versatile.
I do like his design

Absolutely the 5 cut method.
Mines heavy and kinda sticks.
Slight adjustments needed.
It was designed to cut 600mm melamine.
