Sorry to announce that Jools and I will be late scratchings from this event.

Jools' mum has an important medical appointment that day and is unable to travel to it without assistance, so its back up the Hume Highway.

At this stage it's a maybe, and if so only for an hour or so, as I have a very early start on Tuesday morning for an induction session at the Austin hospital as part of a prostate cancer related trial that I'm taking part in.

PS Has everybody got their prostate checked lately as early detection is much better than what I've had to endure for the last 10 years since I've had this cancer.

Not to be "that guy"... but what happened to "Please START A NEW THREAD FOR EACH MONTHLY FGT. Do not follow on in the one thread for month after month." ?

I think the main reason it has followed on is because that way all who have posted to the thread in the past will get an email notification that the thread has a new post for the new month. Some people who only attend occasionally might not reply every month so posting to the end of the previous month's GTG thread might not get the message out to everyone.

For now Matt, I think you might need to make a post at the end of this thread when you start the new one, the following month a bit more effort might be needed to make sure nobody misses out.

Just resurrecting this thread so that people who have attended the regular Melbourne monthly GTG at Box Hill will get their email reminders since nobody seems to have seen the thread on the June GTG.
