G'Day all, looking for builders of electric guitars
Hi all from Jock
I'm a pretty ordinary woodworker, so I'm trying to hunt down people more betterer at it than me.
I am prototyping a new and innovative style of electric guitar pickups and would like to link up with guitar builders who want to forge a unique identity. Happy to chat to anyone with an open mind to new and novel design concepts.
In particular I am looking to make contact with the one who goes by the name of "Little Evil" if anyone can point me in her direction. Unfortunately I've lost touch with my previous contact.
Cheers
Jock

G'day Jock, have a look at this site Pickin Sticks and Pikin Stiks Hardware
It is one of our members, Stan Ceglinski who makes unusual guitars in Billinudgel in northern NSW.
I know 2/3rd's of bugger all about guitars, but his sound pretty good.
Hope this helps,
Alan...

Hi Jock and welcome to the forum.
Have a look in the Musical Instruments section of the forum to see what some of us are doing there. There are all levels there from serious instrument makers to others like me who tinker with cigar box creations. Great thing about CBGs is you can give anything a go so no idea is too strange.
Regards
John

Thanks to all for your feedback. I'm going to head over to the Musical Instruments section as that's more appropriate than here.
I will PM those who have shown interest in this thread shortly.
Cheers all

G'Day & Welcome to a top forum.
There are a good few members in the central NSW with a stack members across the greater Sydney area plus the rest of the country.....
You'll find a heap of helpful & knowledgeable blokes & ladies on the forum and for most very willing to assist.
Make sure you show off your handiwork as everyone loves a photo, especially WIP [Work In Progress] photos with build notes.
Enjoy the forum.
Enjoy your woodwork......
Cheers crowie
PS - The Sydney Wood Show is on this weekend and I've seen one of the exhibitors is a guitar maker...if you can make it.
