Water based joke
Wife comes home and tells husband the car is not working because
it has water in the carby.
Husband replies, "Rubbish, you probably do not even know where the carby is.
I will go and check it out now, where is it?".
Wife replied, "In our swimming pool - I selected "Reverse" instead of "Drive".
Life is short ... smile while you still have teeth.

I know somebody that did something similar. She and the kids were taken to the hospital by the mail carrier in the postal delivery truck. But we won't go there.

Even worse when it's done deliberately (+/-): Backing a car with boat trailer too far down the ramp into a waterway. Somewhere near Seattle, around 1980.

Before the Marlay Point boat race in about 1980, a whole bunch of us sailors watched a bloke try a fast launch of his stink boat...reverse quickly down the ramp, hit the brakes and the boat slides off the trailer into the water.
This only works if you remember to unhook the boat from the trailer first, and the ramp isn't slimy with seaweed. Otherwise, your flashy red Ford gets water in through the windows. (But you will get applause from the sailors.)

Now that one defies any logical reasoning at all or did they use the "following GPS directions" excuse or did pirate Peter have a patch on both eyes
