    Default Fixing my dust collector

My dust collector would not go and I could not work out what the problem was.

It turned out to be an easy fix - I stuck a New South Wales State of Origin sticker on it and now it sucks again.

    Go Queensland

I say that's a brave call when you are without Smith/Thurston/Cronk. Don't get cocky just because our team has 4-5 nanoseconds of S-O-O experience between them.

Anyway what DOES one call a Cane Toad living in Melbourne? (that's a real question....)

I was thinking more "unfortunate, on several levels", but "lost" certainly fits, and may even be a better fit in 6 weeks time......one never knows.......it might even be a better Fittler.......

    Brilliant Doug.
I couldn’t give two hoots about “cross country boxing” aka rugby league EXCEPT when my beloved Queensland are playing & winning State of Origin.
    “GO THE MAROONS”
    Cheers crowie

PS I’ve given 188 pints of my good maroon blood to the Red Cross and mostly in NSW infecting them for good!!

Too right Crowie. In Australia at least any sporting competition at anywhere near the level of State of Origin, it's all about money now. Remember when we grew up in Northgate East all the good footballers at school wanted to grow up to play for Norths? Those days are gone. Now it's all commercial and they get to play for whoever bids for them and pays the most. All that is left where anyone is playing for a team that represents their roots is State of Origin.

Being a Brisbane boy I support the Broncos, but really they weren't even formed until after I had joined the Army and left Brisbane, so it doesn't really mean anything to me. But State of Origin is where it's at.

Now I am in Melbourne I am trying to convince the locals that AFL is just entertainment and NRL is real sport. Storm fans tend to agree but there is no hope for the rest of them.

    Sorry about Norths, Doug.
Brothers was my team; just because of the leprechaun mascot.
Mind you I wasn’t much in footy back then either; give me a billy cart & a bike to explore.

Am I being led to believe that NRL is a real sport when they have those farcical scrums? I think not.

I definitely agree that scrums aren't what they used to be. But hey, its a hell of a lot better than the "balls-up" or whatever they call it that they do in AFL.
