Hi,
That is interesting, this morning I had 3 attempts to get on but my browser just said it was loading and nothing else not even that the sight was taking to long to load, it just sat there, then I got the idea to try the metal work forum and that was OK, later I tried again and was told there was a data problem and the sight knew about it, so I tried Metal work and got the same notification.
Thanks for getting it back, I was missing it.
RegardsHugh

I shot an email off an hour or so ago to someone called Steve, it came back up not long after that but likely just a fluke, had been down for me since late yesterday afternoon.
I was having withdrawal symptoms

Down from 2:53am until 12:32 today Sunday
Under attack by rogue spammer robot, auto reset busted and no alert to Steven.... again.
Auto reset fixed, instant alert fixed... Spammer bot aggressively dealt with, along with the deletion of some 20 other spammers in waiting with similar IP.
Theoretically there won't be another problem again.

I am still having some issues with the forums. When I try to reply with a quote, then 'go advanced' the system spits me out with this error message. The home page works fine, however.

probably to do with Google wanting site that you log into with a username and password to have security on all pages ie https instead of http. We have it but not on every single page and it is invisible.
I will contact Steven with this and see what can be done.
May only be something that happens on "advanced editor" but not really sure.
I use the "Advanced Editor" a lot and have never struck that problem so it may also be something at your end and not the forums
Cheers - Neil
PS I seem to recall Steven saying it was a pretty big job to do the fully secure thing but my memory's not what it used to be any more.KEEP A LID ON THE GARBAGE... Report spam, scams, and inappropriate posts, PMs and Blogs.

I forgot to mention the only other variable is that I was replying with a quote and then going 'advanced' to get a larger screen area to type in. I'll try reply with quote bit not 'go advanced' to see if it does it to me then.
