    Default Brush Cleaners

Need a little advice please on what "Cleaning Solvent" is, in relation to Turps. Up until now, I've only had to worry about cleaning brushes with water or turps after acrylic or enamel paint jobs.

I'm about to cover some Maple steps and have bought some Polycure [Durapol] polyurethane finish. Thinking I could simply wash the brush or roller in Turps, it wasn't until I got home and read the instuctions on the can, it says one should clean up with 3300 Super Cleaning Solvent. Will Turps do the same job or do I have to rush out and get some of this solvent for around $17 for a litre can? Is Acetone a little too powerful?

What type of finish is it?
    What is the recommended thinner?
    Is it two pack?

    cheers
Any thing with sharp teeth eats meat.
    Most powertools have sharp teeth.
    People are made of meat.
Abrasives can be just as dangerous as a blade.....and 10 times more painfull.
