Hi Everyone

My name is Marty, I recently moved from Sydney with my wife to Brisbane and have since discovered an interest in wood working or more specifically furniture making.

I have worked in office for the last 20 years but prior to that was a chef and DJ. My father is a builder so while i am very nww to wood working i am not completely new to the tools and have all ways been able to sink a nail in two hits

So far i have built a workbench, bought a router table and am about to buy my first router.

Projects in the pipe include, a cat tree...so i can practice mitres and use of a biscuit joiner, various furniture such as bed sides and hallway consoles with the big one being a mid-century inspired sideboard.

As a complete newbie i will be asking a lot of questions and seeking advice so thanks in advance!
