Ciao!
Hi there,
My name is Ed, I live in Brisbane and sadly, I am not a woodworker.
A couple of months ago I had a sort of a raw experience with a square block of wood. I had to make the best sphere I could using just a little axe. It was part of a movement course (I am a coach) which exposed me to a deep emotional journey, from excitement to frustration, stubborness and acceptance.
Now, I am here because I'd like to find someone who can build, or even better help me to build a sphere (with the appropriate woodturning tools not an axe please!) which needs to be between 5 and 9 kg and with a 24-28cm of diameter.
Is there anyone around Brisbane happy to help?
Thanks,
Ed

G'Day & Welcome to a top forum "Ed",
There are a stack of members in Brisbane & across S.E. Queensland plus the rest of the world.....
You'll find a heap of helpful & knowledgeable blokes & ladies on the forum and for most very willing to assist.
Make sure you show off your handiwork as everyone loves a photo, especially WIP [Work In Progress] photos with build notes.
Enjoy the forum.
Enjoy your woodwork......
Cheers crowie
PS - May I suggest you place an add in the Market Place "Help Wanted" section to gain a wider viewing audience and thus better change of a positive response....
