Default Posts in the wrong forum

Can something be done about people putting general posts in the Announcements section or here? Maybe a giant (big enough for your grandma to read without her glasses) red message that tells people that the Forums and Members Help section is for help with the actual site, not a general help/questions page?

NB - THIS POST IS FOR ALL MEMBERS (It is not directed at elanjacobs).

Most of them are picked up by mods and moved but mods can't be everywhere and read everything all the time so by reporting the posts you will get them moved quicker and easier.

Any posts that are in the wrong place, are abusive, spam, etc report them it only takes a couple of seconds to do and it makes the job of the mods and admins a little more easier. Bare in mind that we are all unpaid volunteers trying to keep the forums free for all and clear of garbage, wrong posts in wrong places, , spam and everything else that doesn't really belong here.

Some posts in the wrong place or inappropriate or spamming, etc are viewed by 50 or more people before they are picked up by a mod or admin and moved. Any one of those 50 odd could have had the post moved, edited or deleted very quickly had they reported the post when they first saw it.

Dig in and report posts and there will be no need to see them or put up with them for very long and there will be no angst.

    Cheers - Neil
